Locusts are very popular feeding insects for reptile due to their higher fat and fiber content compared to house crickets and crickets. Their diet, particularly in regards to the important fiber content, is a bit more complicated than that of crickets, for example. Often leading to failures during the important feeding (“gut loading”) of purchased locusts.
Locuster Jelly is a staple food specially developed to meet these requirements and, thanks to its diverse composition, automatically enriches the feeding insects in quality, which ultimately benefits the reptile's health.
Of course, the jelly is also suitable for grasshoppers that are not kept for feeding and other herbivorous (plant-eating) insects.
Tip: in a very dry environment, the jelly can dry out quickly, it can simply be moistened with a few drops of water. After two days, however, uneaten food should be renewed.
