The Lucky Reptile Life Light Halogen is a multifunctional terrarium lid that ensures optimal lighting and temperature regulation in small terrariums. The lid is equipped with two daylight LEDs and a moonlight LED, which automatically switch between day and night lighting via an integrated light sensor. This automatic adjustment ensures natural lighting conditions in the terrarium and supports the animals' natural day-night rhythm. If the moonlight LED is not desired for nighttime lighting, the light sensor can be deactivated, allowing the terrarium to be controlled via a timer instead.
For optimal air circulation, the lid features an integrated grid structure that ensures continuous ventilation and prevents moisture buildup. A practical screw cap allows for easy handling, while an additional small opening makes it easy to add food or water without having to open the lid completely.
A special highlight is the GU-4 socket, which allows the operation of a mini halogen lamp with 5 to 20 watts. This is ideal for terrarium inhabitants with a higher need for radiant heat. The halogen lamp is also controlled by the light sensor, seamlessly integrating into the day-night cycle. Additionally, the Life Light Halogen offers a practical dimming function, allowing the brightness and heat output of the halogen lamp to be individually adjusted. By pressing the switch for two seconds, the power can be regulated in three levels (100%, 80%, 60%). This enables flexible adjustment of light and temperature conditions to meet the needs of the animals and compensate for seasonal temperature fluctuations.
Important: The dimming function only works with halogen lamps and is not compatible with LED light sources.
The combination of automatic day-night switching, flexible dimming, and the ability to integrate additional heat lamps via the GU-4 socket makes the Life Light Halogen an optimal solution for lighting and temperature regulation in small terrariums. Thanks to its slightly protruding edge, the lid can be easily fitted into a round cutout of larger glass or plastic terrariums.
