The Lucky Reptile MantisTarrium is an innovative small terrarium specifically designed for the proper care of praying mantises and other small invertebrates. With its modern design that provides an optimal view of the animals, it sets new standards in terrarium keeping. A standout feature of the MantisTarrium is its multifunctional lid (Life Light Halogen), which includes two daylight LEDs and a moonlight LED. These LEDs enable automatic day and night lighting, controlled by an integrated light sensor. This simulates a natural day-night rhythm, enhancing the well-being of the terrarium inhabitants. The light sensor can be deactivated if preferred, allowing control via a timer. The lid also features a practical mesh structure for efficient ventilation and a screw-on closure for secure access. Additionally, a small extra opening allows for feeding or watering without fully opening the lid.
For species with higher heat requirements, the MantisTarrium includes a GU-4 socket, compatible with mini halogen lamps. These heat lamps are also controlled by the light sensor, seamlessly integrating into the day-night cycle. A flexible dimming function allows the halogen lamp's output to be adjusted in three stages (100%, 80%, 60%), enabling customization of light intensity and heat output to suit the animals’ needs and simulate seasonal temperature changes. Note: The dimming function is only available with halogen lamps and does not work with LED light sources. The combination of automatic day-night transition, dimmable lighting, and the option to integrate additional heat lamps makes the MantisTarrium an ideal solution for keeping mantises and other small invertebrates.
The lid is also compatible with other Lucky Reptile small terrariums, such as the LifeTarrium, InsectTarrium, LifeBox, and SpiderTarrium.
